Marc Broussard Grass Roots Promotion Contest - May 17, 2005
Get your creative juices flowing! Summer is on its way and we have some awesome prizes for you to win! We are hosting a contest for the most creative grassroots promotion of Marc's music/tour dates from June 1st through July 17th utilizing both street and internet promotions. For those of you that don't have shows in your area during this time frame, don't fret, we'll run another contest for the shows occurring after July 17th.
The grand prize will go to 2 winners in 2 separate rounds of the contest:
-Autographed copies of "Carencro" and "Momentary Setback"
-A t-shirt of your choice (as long as we have it in stock)
-2 tickets to a Marc show of your choice (availability/age restrictions permitting)
-An autographed CD of the live show you attend with the tix listed above
-A Marc/Citizen Cope/David Ryan Harris/Toby Lightman poster autographed by Marc
-and... drumroll please... some time to hang out with Marc on the night of the show you utilize your (above listed) tickets for! (Must be arranged in advance in order for time to permit this.)
The tools you have to work with:
-Posters/flyers: The tour page of marcbroussard.com is full of show-specific posters and flyers.
-E-cards: The tour page has show-specific e-cards, too!
-Banners/Buddy Icons: The media page of Marc's website is full of online promotional tools including buddy icons for your instant messenger and banners for your websites and chat forums.
-Media Player
-Live Sampler CDs: If you don't have any of Marc's live shows on CD please visit the trading forum of momentarysetback.com to find out how to get your hands on some!
And anything else creative that you can think up!
Here's how you enter:
-Submit a short, written report outlining your promotion.
-Submit .jpg photos (this can include screen caps for online promotions) of your promotions.
-Send entries to mbcontest@brickwallmgmt.com with the subject line of "MARC'S BIG CONTEST."
*Submissions for this must be sent in by July 25th. The winner will be contacted by July 29th.
*You will have six months from the date you are contacted to use the 2 tickets and hang out with Marc at the show of your choose (availability/age restrictions permitting).
The goal of this contest is to really get the word out there about Marc's upcoming tour to the people that you think would become fans of his. Let them hear the music, send them to his website, and tell everybody when Marc is coming to town! Thanks for spreading the music and GOOD LUCK!
